As Christmas is coming closer I attended the filming of a gospel choir Christmas performance which will be aired on local TV. The outfits were stunning and the voices beautiful. It was very surreal listening to all the famous Christmas songs but standing there in shorts and t-shirts in 32 degrees heat.

 Christmas is just over three weeks away. The decorations and songs have been displayed and played in the local shopping centre for weeks now. Even some of the local buses have been decorated in style…but as I haven’t seen the CocaCola truck advert yet I am struggling to get into the mood…I have been told that the advert is shown here too so there is hope yet!

We went to watch the traditional dances at the Village Museum. Two groups of musicians and dancers performed for several hours singing and dancing to traditional songs in various tribal languages. The costumes were incredible making me feel like I was actually in the Lion King!
